For over 2 decades Samuel Theagene MD has enjoyed a successful career helping patients as a physiatrist and pain specialist after specialty training from University of Pennsylvania and State University of N.Y./Kings County Hospital. Currently working in Queens N.Y, Dr. Theagene and his courteous, professional staff are available to assist patients in need of pain management and rehabilitative care.


Operating outpatient facility that boasts state of the art technology, Central Park Physical Medicine provides Advanced Healthcare options such as fluoroscopy imaging and electromyography monitoring and diagnosis.


Approved to practice medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), Samuel Theagene maintains a Specialty Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Additionally, a Diplomate of the ABMS, Dr. Theagene participates in the Maintenance of Certification, a professional development program designed to advance exceptional patient care. The board administers periodic examinations that include focus on professionalism, medical knowledge, practice-based learning and improvement, communication, patient care and procedural skills.


In addition to his work in private practice, Samuel Theagene has contributed to the training of the next generation of medical professionals as an Assistant Professor of the State University of New York. He conducted many tutorial sessions with the use of cadavers and has taught electromyography.


A multilingual Interventional Pain physician, Dr Theagene is available to address any patient who wishes to communicate in their native tongue of English, French, Creole or Spanish thereby facilitating the care provided. After all, his philosophy is that you're treated like "Family".
